SRCL Announement | SRCL names Tom Bates as CFO

SRC Logistics is pleased to announce that Tom Bates has accepted the Chief Financial Officer position at SRC Logistics. Tom has had a tremendous positive impact at multiple SRC companies over the past 18 years, including 14 years as the CFO at SRC Automotive, where he lead the Accounting, HR and IT departments. Bates became the Chief Operations Officer at Newstream in 2014 and was instrumental in the continued development of their Joliet, IL operations. Most recently, he joined SRC Holdings to manage ESOP and 401K compliance planning and reporting.  He continues to serve on the 401K investment committee.

As CFO, Tom will be responsible for leading the Accounting, HR and IT Solutions Development departments. Tom’s experience and expertise will be an important part of our support structure as we continue to drive operational performance and ultimately customer satisfaction.

Tom earned his BS in Accounting from Missouri State University and has a Master of Organizational Leadership from Evangel University. He served on the Greene County Financial Taskforce, a citizen group that implemented GGOB principles in county government and increased the effectiveness of financial budgeting. He also served as the Treasurer for AGCU credit union, helping them grow from $42M to over $140M.

Tom has three children and resides in Springfield with his wife Bri.  He’s an avid golfer and enjoys outdoor activities.
