Don Chenevert, Deputy General Counsel for SRC Holdings Corporation, received the ACE award during the World Reman Conference on Sept. 19.

The ACE award honors a person or company that advocates, collaborates and educates on behalf of the remanufacturing industry. Chenevert was recognized for his leadership in creating positive change for the remanufacturing industry. As head of the Standards Committee, Chenevert helped develop the America National Standards Institute (ANSI), a standard that defines and provides a benchmark for the process of remanufacturing.

The annual World Remanufacuturing Conferenece is hosted jointly by Remanufacutring Industries Council (RIC) and Rochester Institute of Technology. This conference brings together leaders from all sectors of the remanufacturing industry for an intensive, highly collaborative exploration of best practices, emerging trends and issues of critical importance to the industry. Several of the SRC divisions participate in the World Reman conference as speakers and attendees. Additionally members from various SRC divisions also serve on the Board of Directors and on committees for RIC.
