#manufacturingmonday Let's Highlight SRC Lexington

SRC of Lexington specializes in the remanufacture of large engines, hydraulics and power train components. We work as an extension of our OEM partners, developing the highest quality remanufactured components to add value and lower the cost of ownership for their products. Our components can be found in the Mining, Construction, Agriculture and Power Generation industries, providing exceptional quality and value while maximizing availability.

SRC of Lexington is a subsidiary of Springfield ReManufacturing Corp and is an employee-owned company. We embrace open-book management, pioneered by our founder and CEO Jack Stack (author of The Great Game of Business). Open-book management informs and empowers all of us as employees and owners to continuously improve our products and services. Find out more about The Great Game of Business!

SRC of Lexington has been quietly bringing new jobs to Lexington. After its founding in September 2009 with 65 initial employees, the company has steadily grown to over 120 employees in January 2015. SRC is still hiring Engineers, Diesel Mechanics, and General Shop Laborers. For more information, see career opportunities.

SRC is also expanding operations and adding an additional 12,000 sqft to the existing operations on Eastland Drive in Lexington, Kentucky. The expansion will allow the company to increase capacity for the remanufacturing of Engines, Hydraulics, and Drivetrain Components for Heavy Equipment and Natural Gas Engine components. With the $1.9M expansion and equipment purchases, SRC hopes to add 50 new jobs over the next two years and continue to grow the footprint of the company in Lexington, with hopes to double by 2019.
